Media Archaeology Festival

This might find in with recent discussions I've been having with my colleagues about archiving digital media projects. There are obvious hindrances such as out-of-date technology that makes it impossible to display lovingly crafted interactive experiences after a few years. There is also the issue of a perceived need to describe art works and design in words - with artifacts designed to be seen and experienced, a translation into a logocentric mode may result in a loss or distortion of the original vibrance.
